Emily Wolfe (she/her)

Denver, CO

Emily Wolfe, MSW, is a social worker, mindbody therapist and advocate for disabled people. Having obtained her master’s degree in social work after a career as a professional modern dancer, her theory and practice integrate the fields to create a multifaceted approach to healing and social justice pursuits. She currently works in medical social work, teaches accessible yoga and advocates for accessible, trauma informed environments.

“I like to think of [social justice] as a verb and something that is continuous, a bucking against oppressive structures. I’ve personally theorized that disembodiment is the source of violence and the source of disconnection. And so in some ways, I think providing different places of embodiment can hopefully reduce violence in general.”
