Khalia Ii (she/her)

Khalia Ii is a doctoral candidate in the University of San Diego School of Leadership and Education Sciences. Her dissertation research focuses on (healing-centered pedagogy or ??- it isn’t fully described in the interview!) At USD, Khalia also teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses on Leadership and Spirituality, and serves as the Program Supervisor in Student Affairs. 

“Social justice is an investment in affirming the dignity of, um, human life and natural life…that recognition…. I relate to embodiment as a way that I, as the, as the practice, like as a practice itself of affirming dignity. So it’s like that practice of recognition.”
